FitSlice Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the FitSlice app and website (the "Service"). By using FitSlice, you agree to them. Contact: jason@smbaisolutions.ai.

1. For fun, not nutrition advice

FitSlice is an entertainment and motivation app. "Slices earned" are a playful estimate, not medical, fitness, dietary, or nutrition advice. Calories per slice are generic estimates by pizza type and do not reflect any specific restaurant's food. Activity and calorie readings from your device may be inaccurate. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet or exercise routine. FitSlice is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 or older to use FitSlice. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian, and Neutral Mode (no food-reward framing) is on by default.

3. Health data permissions

FitSlice requests read-only access to active energy and step count from Apple Health or Health Connect. You control these permissions and can revoke them at any time. See our Privacy Policy.

4. Your account

Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no reverse engineering, scraping, interfering with the Service, submitting false reviews or listings, or using it for unlawful purposes.

6. Pizzeria listings and sponsored placement

• Pizzerias shown in FitSlice may be listed for free or pay a fee to be listed.
• Some pizzerias pay for Featured placement, which may place them higher in lists or highlight them in the app. Featured and sponsored placements are always labeled (for example, "Featured").
• FitSlice does not endorse any pizzeria and is not responsible for their food, prices, hours, service, allergens, or accuracy of their listing. Contact the pizzeria directly with questions.
• Pizzerias that claim listings agree to additional Merchant Terms, including accurate information, phone verification, and payment terms for paid tiers.

7. Intellectual property

FitSlice, its logo, and app content belong to FitSlice. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FITSLICE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR FOOD CHOICES, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, OR INTERACTIONS WITH PIZZERIAS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms. You can stop using FitSlice at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.

12. App stores

If you downloaded FitSlice from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for FitSlice.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
